Yes, they can be! Our chargers are sealed against environmental elements: Dust, Water, vibration, electrical interferences, electrical surges, etc. Our chargers can be customized with a great number of options to suit portable and wall mount options.
The primary reason for the failure of power electronics when exposed to the elements is dust accumulation, PCB dendrite formation, Arc tracking, and high humidity. All Solterra chargers are IP67 sealed and have a great service operational life.

Yes we have onboard chargers for 4W, Communication controllers (CHAdeMO, ISO 15118, GB/T) and EVSE (electric vehicle supply equipment)
A small portion of power is lost during the conversion and control of AC (alternating current) to DC ( direct current). This excess power must be dissipated to keep the charger within touch-safe temperature levels. The chargers on our Fans work hard to remove this excess heat and also help increase the life of the device.
Our Charger's slew rates are fast enough to conform to the most demanding algorithms like pulse charging. At the same time, the voltage and current regulations are good enough to have a smooth start and end of charge.
We can do more than 25K Chargers a month and will scale and ramp up with your expectations.
At this point in time we start with 12V and go all the way upto 500V.
